The Klowns are a dangerous sapient race found in the Amalgam Galaxy. Certain colonies of Klowns are called by their colonial demonyms or other terms, including the Clown-Men of Norfo (Daniel Pinkwater's Borgel) and the Poglochians from Poglochis (DC Comics).
Background history[]
Within the Consolidated Timeline of Amalgam Online, the Klowns are stated to be a race evolved from the Ravenous, a race that once fed upon Time Lord regeneration energy. When the Time Lords were nearly wiped out, so too did the Ravenous fall; however a small number of them persisted and adapted to feed on the liquefied essence of lifeforms instead, becoming the Klowns.

Unlike most races in the game, the Klowns are an amalgamation of a number of media "space clowns", where they fit. They currently combine those found in Doctor Who, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Tripping the Rift.
